This leaves huge potential problems for us in New Zealand, because guess what happens to all our recycling once it's collected and sorted.
Richard Tong is an Environmental Consultant who pioneered the recycling scheme in the Auckland suburb of Devonport in the 1970s and he spoke to Eric Young.
