Police are looking for a man who allegedly filmed up teenage girls' skirts in Napier.

The alleged incident happened on August 24 on Shakespeare Rd and Browning St, victims told police.

"This is disturbing behaviour and we need people to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity like this," said Det Sgt Heath Jones.

"This is a very concerning incident where a male has brazenly filmed the girls in a very public place and police are concerned by this type of offending."

They are seeking a Pakeha man in his late 30s or early 40s, of medium build and with "distinctive" blue eyes.
