A joint police and customs investigation has led to the arrest of two Napier men for importing methamphetamine with a street value of $200,000.
The two men, aged 31 and 45, were charged on Monday with the importation of 236 grams of methamphetamine.
They are also facing charges related to possession of Class A and Class B drugs.
They are scheduled to appear in Hastings District Court on Tuesday.
Police say the arrests are unrelated to an operation in the eastern policing district last week.
