A serious incident has left two people in hospital and another person on the run in Manurewa.
Police say today they attempted to stop a stolen vehicle in Manurewa, the vehicle fled from police and a short time later collided with another vehicle on Russel Road.
A passenger in the fleeing vehicle, a 19-year-old female, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. Her condition upon being loaded onto the ambulance was described as "unstable".
The driver of the vehicle remains on the loose; police are urging him to turn himself in.
Russel Road remains closed and diversions are in place.
