Four people have been rushed to North Shore Hospital after a concrete collapse on a building site in Albany.

Emergency services rushed to the scene at Don McKinnon Dr on Auckland's North Shore just after 6am.

A St John spokeswoman says four people were taken to North Shore hospital with moderate injuries, and three people were assessed on the scene.

She says they sent three ambulances, two managers and a specialist rescue team that wasn't required.

She says it's believed the seven people all fell after a concrete collapse.

Police, ambulance and fire services are all in attendance - and there are reports of injuries.

A fire communications spokeswoman says no people are trapped.
