Two young men have been arrested, after an Auckland bus driver was stabbed on Wednesday evening.
The bus driver is in a serious condition with wounds to the neck and stomach, suffered in Manurewa at 5:45pm.
Police staff worked at the scene to treat the driver, before he was transported to Middlemore Hospital.
A 15-year-old and a 20-year-old have since been arrested at a nearby address, and will appear at the Manukau Youth Court and District Court on Thursday.
The bus will be forensically examined and passengers are being offered support.
