Two masked men brandishing weapons robbed a dairy in Whakatane on Saturday morning.
They entered the Mananui Dairy on James Street at around 7:10am and stole cigarettes, before fleeing.
The owner was in the shop at the time but was unharmed in the robbery.
Whakatane CIB wants anyone that was in the area or has any information to contact the police.
