Police have released a photo of a man they want to talk to in relation to the shooting of a taxi driver in Wellington on Sunday.
Police want to speak to 26-year-old Dylan Nuku.
Police say the male driver had taken two passengers - a man and a woman - from Courtenay Place to Stone St, where the dispute occurred.
After being shot, he managed to get to a nearby service station, before emergency services took him to Wellington Hospital.
Nuku is 158 cm tall. He is believed to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
Anyone who sees him is urged to call 111 immediately.
A number of search warrants have been carried out today and police are actively searching for him.
Detective Senior Sergeant Warwick McKee is appealing for Nuku to hand himself in.
“Come forward to speak to police,” he implored directly to Nuku in a statement.
