Powerball player's million-dollar win

A Powerball player from Hamilton will be popping the champagne after winning $4 million with Powerball First Division in Saturday's Lotto draw.

The total prize of $4.25 million is made up of $4 million from Powerball First Division and $250,000 from Lotto First Division.

The winning ticket was sold at Glenview Centre Lotto & Post in Hamilton.

Three Lotto players from Rotorua, Christchurch and Alexandra will also be celebrating on Saturday night after each winning $250,000 with Lotto First Division.

The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Lucky Lotto Shop in Rotorua, Fendalton New World in Christchurch and Paper Plus Alexandra.

Meanwhile, Strike Four has rolled over and will be $200,000 on Wednesday night.

Last Wednesday's Powerball jackpot of $38 million was won by two players from Warkworth and Greytown, who won $19.1 million each.

The winning tickets were sold at New World Warkworth and Fresh Choice Greytown. Both winners are yet to claim their prize.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores is urged write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
