A dozen searchers and a dog team are continuing the search for a Marlborough man missing for more than a week.
Fifty-three-year-old Colin Ross was last seen in Blenheim on the afternoon of October 25 and police say there's serious concerns about his welfare.
His car was found at the entrance to the Heaphy Track on Friday and police are now calling for any witnesses who were in the area on October 25 or 26 to come forward.
Police said 12 people were out in the field on Saturday, concentrating on the Kohaihai Bluff area and the Nikau Walk, up to Crayfish Point.
A Land Search and Rescue dog team was now also taking part.
Mr Ross lives in the Waihopai Valley, near Blenheim.
In a social media page set up to raise funds for a helicopter search, Mr Ross' family said the disappearance was "very out of character".
