A babysitter found guilty of manslaughter will shortly find out her fate.
Shayal Upashna Sami, 21, will be sentenced on Friday after she was found guilty of manslaughter over the death of a Christchurch toddler.
One-year-old Aaliyah Ashlyn Chand died from fatal head injuries while in Sami's care on January 6, 2015.

The defence had said Sami put Aaliyah down on the couch to sleep and was in the kitchen cooking dinner, when the toddler woke up and fell off the couch in a "tragic fall".
But the Crown said Sami snapped in a "moment of frustration" and harmed the toddler.
A two-week trial was held in the High Court at Christchurch in November.
