The search for missing Rangiora woman Emma Beattie is being scaled back.
Searchers, including police and LandSAR volunteers, have combed the area where the 20-year-old was last seen on December 1 at her Fernside home, including the Ashley River.
"Sadly we have now reached the point where all possible search options have been exhausted, and as such, our efforts will now be scaled back," says Senior Sergeant Paul Reeves on Sunday.
"While there is now no official land-based search, enquiries are still ongoing into Emma's disappearance.
"We still urge anyone who has seen Emma since she went missing and has not yet contacted police to please do so as soon as they can."
Ms Beattie was described as having long blonde hair and was believed to be wearing orange and black Nike shoes.
She may also be carrying a small brown drawstring rucksack with cream coloured rope straps.
