Searchers are out again in the Ashley River area of Canterbury looking for missing Rangiora woman Emma Beattie.

The 20-year-old was reported missing from her Fernside home on the night of December 1, which was a Friday.

The 11 search and rescue teams out on Saturday will keep looking for her until 6pm, police say.

Police believe Ms Beattie may have been in the Ashley River area on Saturday after she went missing.

Ms Beattie was described as having long blonde hair and was believed to be wearing orange and black Nike shoes.

She may also be carrying a small brown drawstring rucksack with cream coloured rope straps.
