One person is dead and two others have been critically injured after a car rolled on Ninety Mile Beach in the Far North.
Emergency crews raced to the scene near the Waipapakauri boat ramp just before 10pm on Friday night.
A 43-year-old man died at the scene, and two others in their 20s were taken to hospital with critical injures.
A fourth person suffered minor injuries.
