One person is dead after a car and truck crashed near Rotorua.
Emergency services were called to Ash Pit Rd in Rerewhakaaitu at 6:50pm on Monday.
The driver of the car died at the scene. The driver of the truck was unharmed.
Fire crews and police are still at the scene.
