An elderly woman died on an overnight Jetstar flight from Rarotonga to Auckland on Friday.
She suffered a medical event at around 3am on JQ130 and attempts by crew and a doctor to resuscitate her failed, a witness told Stuff.
The witness said the woman's body was moved to the back of the plane for the remainder of the flight.
A Jetstar spokesperson told Stuff medical services and police met the aircraft once it landed in Auckland.
