Christchurch police are hunting for three men who dragged a woman beside their car as they tried to snatch her handbag.
The 26-year-old was walking on Niven St in Wainoni on Monday, when the car approached her.
One of the men tried to grab her bag as she was holding it, as the car drove off at the same time, dragging her a significant distance to Breezes Rd.
Police want to hear from anyone in the area around 7pm who saw or heard anything suspicious.
