A women was shot in the foot in the Auckland suburb of Kingsland early on Sunday morning.
Police were called to the Kingsland Lodge on New North Rd about 1:40am. A woman was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
It's not clear yet whether the gun was fired deliberately or accidentally.
Police are investigating the incident, and speaking to a man known to the woman.
