A commercial building in Wellington's CBD has been evacuated after earthquake damage was discovered.
Workers inside the 13 storey office building at 79 Boulcott Street were informed at 2pm that they needed to leave the building by 4pm.
Wellington City Council building resilience team member Jacqui Hastie said engineers had assessed the building and raised concerns about the damage.
