McCully to attend All Blacks RWC match
Foreign Minister Murray McCully is about to leave for Brussels and New York, and he's managed to squeeze the All Blacks' first Rugby World Cup match in London into his itinerary.
He's flying out today for a meeting with senior European Union representatives in Brussels to discuss New Zealand's aspirations for a free trade agreement with the EU and the refugee crisis facing the region.
In New York Mr McCully will attend the Commonwealth foreign ministers meeting and the UN's sustainable development summit.
"En route to Brussels, Minister McCully will take part in activities to support New Zealand's Rugby World Cup campaign in London and attend the All Blacks versus Argentina match in his capacity as associate minister of sport," his office said in a statement.
