Prime Minister John Key is talking up his government's list of achievements on the first anniversary of its re-election.
"A year on from the general election, the National-led Government is delivering on its commitment to help all New Zealanders get ahead," Mr Key said in a statement on Sunday.
He listed the Government's achievements and reiterated that the New Zealand economy was strong.
Pundits are talking down the economy after dairy prices crashed but government ministers say other exports are doing well.
Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce told The Nation programme on Saturday that "in fact, the real story of the last 12 months in export turnover is how much that overall exports stayed up, notwithstanding very tough times, as you say, in the dairy space".
"So what I think we are seeing is a story of New Zealand's increasing resilience across a range of industries," he said.
