Finance Minister Bill English has left for Sydney to meet Australia's new Treasurer Scott Morrison.
Prime Minister John Key held talks with his new Australian counterpart, Malcolm Turnbull, at the weekend.
English left yesterday, and he's staying on after his meeting with Morrison to speak at an investment conference tomorrow.
"Australia is our largest trading partner, and when Australia does well, we do well," he said before leaving.
It's important to understand the prospects for the Australian economy and the views of its policy makers."
