It would probably be fair to say with the amount of political discord in Parliament on any given day it'd be hard to find some harmony.
But a rare moment of it was found (and filmed) in the Maori Party offices yesterday with co-leader Marama Fox, National MP Jono Naylor and Green Party co-leader Metiria Turei practicing a festive song for The Nation's final show of the year.
In a video posted to the Maori Party's Facebook page, the trio rehearse 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' ahead of their performance on The Nation on Saturday.
The live show will be hosted by Patrick Gower and Lisa Owen where they'll be joined by politicians including Andrew Little, David Seymour, Phil Goff and Laila Harre, the year's newsmakers and their critics.
The show will air on Saturday at 9:25am and on Sunday at 10am.
