Australia's on the path for a July election after the Senate again rejected a government bill.
MPs and Senators had been recalled to Canberra three weeks early for an extraordinary sitting of Parliament to debate industrial relations legislation.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull had warned last month there would be a double-dissolution election on July 2.
