Woodhouse discusses people smuggling
Immigration Minister Michael Woodhouse is in Bali discussing ways to deal with people smuggling.
The conference brings together ministers from 43 countries who are looking for "practical measures" to deter and disrupt people smuggling.
"It's about working together effectively to deter and disrupt these dangerous and undesirable activities, and improve our own border security as a result," Mr Woodhouse said before he left for Indonesia yesterday.
"New Zealand continues to make a significant contribution in this area and this conference is integral to that."
