Trump says he'd meet with N Korea 'under the right circumstances'
The White House is rushing to qualify US President Donald Trump's comments after he said he'd meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un "under the right circumstances" according to Bloomberg News.
The White House said clearly the conditions for a meeting between Mr Trump and the North Korean leader weren't appropriate and the US would need to see the provocative behaviour ratcheted down immediately.
In an interview with Bloomberg on Monday Mr Trump said: "If it would be appropriate for me to meet with him, I would absolutely, I would be honoured to do it."
He added "under the right circumstances I would meet with him".
