Wall Street suffered a massive fall this morning, after yesterday saw big losses on Asian markets.
US stocks fell over five percent in the opening minutes of trading.
But stocks are clawing back many of the losses.
The sell-off has also hurt the New Zealand dollar, which is down two percent from yesterday, trading at just over 65 US cents.
