Bernie Sanders edges lead over Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire

Hillary Clinton's trying to outmanoeuvre her closest rival in the race for the Democrats nomination.

Bernie Sanders has a nine-point lead on Clinton in the latest New Hampshire poll, ahead 41 percent to 32.

Sources say she's getting nervous about the polls and the big crowds Sanders is drawing at his rallies.

Clinton's plan is reportedly to go big – not by throwing large rallies, but to appear on big-name TV shows.

US correspondent Sandy Hughes joined Paul Henry this morning to discuss this new trend and whether Clinton can reverse it.
