Former broadcaster Mary Lambie is a rugby 'unenthusiast', who will be doing her best to avoid the World Cup over the next six weeks.

She is part of a small group of Kiwis who couldn't care less about New Zealand's 26-16 win over Argentina or whether the team even makes it past the pool stage.

"I'm patriotic and I've got a competitive spirit – I just don't give a shit about the games," she says.

"I'm interested in the outcome, not the process and I don't think there's any shame in that.

"It does not make me any less of a Kiwi."
