As the Syrian refugee crisis gets worse, lots of people want to know how they can do more to help.

The New Zealand Red Cross is offering concerned Kiwis some practical ideas for how they can help make a difference for refugees.

Ideas include donating to the Red Cross Mediterranean refugee Crisis Appeal, donating through the New Zealand Red Cross website and becoming a refugee resettlement support volunteer.

More information on how the Red Cross is helping refugees and a full list of ways to help can be found on the New Zealand Red Cross website.
