When you think Queenstown, you probably think of a lovable, sunny holiday destination. But underneath, it is in fact seething with terror, dread and the supernatural.
In the backblocks of Otago lies a house so haunted the owner does not want anyone to know where it is. But Story found it.
Two filmmakers were so inspired by the house they decided to make a film about it – just in time for Halloween.
Deadroom premieres in New Zealand this weekend and it's about two ghost hunters who find the house and decide to stay there.
But what they found terrified them and they never went back.
Story went to investigate the house which has been captured on the big screen and so scary the owner only lets people see it if they seek it out themselves.
