An Auckland University student by the name of Ian Randall has taken out this year's 'Three Minute Thesis' competition.
The point he made in three minutes was that the media are dinosaur obsessed, printing and televising dinosaur news willy-nilly at the expense of other important science news.
Was this science though, or just a man who hates dinosaurs?
