Meeting NZ's proudest father

This time a week ago, Joe Moody was playing for his province in the ITM Cup and playing well.

Moody was an All Black last year but didn't make the cut for the World Cup this year. But then the call came.

Story went to catch up with Moody's father, Tony, who has been working long hours, giving him plenty of time to contemplate his boy's beaver-like call-up to the All Blacks.

Tony was at the wheel of his tractor – where you might expect to find the father of a rugged Canterbury prop – getting used to talkback callers talking about his son, New Zealand's newest World Cup recruit.

Tony and his wife had cancelled their original British bookings but will fly out this Wednesday, leaving behind the dry fields of North Canterbury for the hallowed turf of Twickenham.
