NZ trail walk not so simple for one family

When you think of family activities, walking the length of New Zealand probably doesn't spring to mind. But for one family, that is exactly what they are doing.

It's a story about adversity, struggle and not giving a damn about those things.

Chris, Raechell and Bella Foote are walking Te Araroa – the New Zealand trail. A 3000km track running the length of the country.

The journey will take them through bush, along sandy coastlines and through towns and communities.

But there is a complication with this trip.

13-year-old Bella has Type 1 diabetes which requires constant insulin shots.

So a simple walk is not so simple.

Story joins this family on one of the world's great walks and finds out complications are there to be overcome.
