Opinion: The Good, The Flag and The Ugly

The best national flags are stunning in their simplicity, they offer something to aspire to and serve as a lesson for how good we could have it.

On the other hand, there are some national flags that make you shake your head and wonder what sort of hallucinogenic the designers were on when they came up with them.

This all matters, because we now get to choose whether we have a flag that is good, bad, or just plain ugly.

I am utterly biased in the flag debate, and say you should absolutely vote Red Peak.

If flags speak in an internationally accepted language of flags, then four of our five designs are illiterate, and Red Peak is the only one that makes sense.

It's also the only option that looks like a flag and won't induce nausea, mocking laughter, or bewilderment from other nations.
