Royals to visit historic railway

Reporter Hamish Clark spoke to Paul Henry from Christchurch as Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall make their way through New Zealand.

Royal itinerary for November 5: 

- At 1.15pm the couple arrive at Mosgiel Railway Station and board the Taieri Gorge Railway train. - They’re due to arrive at Dunedin Railway Station at 1.45 and walk to Toitu Otago Settlers Museum. This will be the main opportunity for the public to see the couple in Dunedin.  At Toitu - the couple will meet with descendants of Otago's earliest settlers. - The carriage they are going to arrive in is not first class and doesn’t have air conditioning. - At 2.50pm Prince Charles visits Animation Research to learn about innovation and entrepreneurship in Dunedin. Camilla will attend a literature event at the University of Otago in recognition of Dunedin's status as a UNESCO City of Literature. - At 4pm the couple will visit Orokonui Eco Sanctuary where Prince Charles will give a brief address to environmental groups in recognition of Conservation Week.
