Invercargill group tackles abuse and welfare problems
Child abuse is a huge problem in New Zealand but giving up or saying it is too hard is not an option and neither is ignoring the issue or not wanting to talk about it.
Silence is not golden.
But where should we be looking for a solution to our abuse and welfare problems?
One place is Invercargill where the 1000 Days Trust is a group putting the 'early' into early intervention.
You could call it the ambulance at the top of the cliff.
