On Thursday Transport minister Simon Bridges announced the Government’s aiming to have 64,000 electric vehicles on New Zealand roads by 2021.

The Government will make them exempt from road user charges and will allow them to use bus lanes and high occupancy lanes.

Mr Bridges joined Paul Henry to talk about the plan.
