Teina Pora spent 21 years in jail for the rape and murder of Susan Burdett -- a crime he didn't commit.

His conviction was quashed by the Privy Council in London last year, so what price tag do you put on those 21 years that were lost behind bars?

Is two million dollars enough or a slap in the face?

That's the amount he's going to receive - the biggest pay-out in New Zealand history, roughly $95,000 for each year he was incarcerated.

Massey University Law professor Chris Gallavin joined Paul Henry this morning to discuss.
