Field Days has helped give the sales of new cars another boost.
The Motor Industry Association says vehicle sales rose five percent last month compared to June of last year.
It was the strongest June on record for sales of commercial vehicles, with 4,513 vehicles sold.
New passenger registrations totalled 9,186.
The Ford Ranger was the top selling vehicle for June, taking 19 percent market share (836 units).
