In 2011 Dr Conrad Murray was charged and found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson.
Dr Murray was the singer's personal physician as he was preparing to launch his "This is It" tour.
Jackson was found unresponsive at his home on June 25, 2009 after he'd taken a lethal combination of drugs.
Dr Murray was at Jackson's home at the time and the drugs the doctor had prescribed soon come under the microscope
Prosecutors eventually charged him with involuntary manslaughter. Murray appeared in court in 2011 and after a trial lasting nearly a month, was found guilty and sentenced to four years in prison.
He was released in 2013 after serving half his sentence.
