Voting for 3rd UN straw poll

Voting in the United Nation's third straw poll took place this morning.

Helen Clark was watching and waiting for the results, even though she lost favour among the candidates.

Prime Minister John Key is heading overseas next week to round up more support for Ms Clark.

Labour's foreign affairs spokesperson and former UN aid co-ordinator David Shearer spoke to Mark Sainsbury, filling in for Paul Henry, while voting was underway.
