Thousands of teachers around the country will stage walkouts over the next couple of weeks to protest against the Government's proposed "global budget".
It's the first time primary and secondary teacher unions have joined forces on an issue.
The teachers say the new funding proposal removes strict student-teacher ratios and could see classroom sizes balloon.
