ARANZ Medical wins Supreme New Zealand Innovator award
A small Christchurch company is making a big impact in the medical world.
Last night, ARANZ Medical took home the Supreme Prize at the New Zealand Innovation Awards, as well as best in Innovation and Technology Solutions.
They've invented a Star Trek-like medical scanner; It's an electronic, non-contact wound surveillance system that measures the rate of healing and wound change over a period of time, allowing for better monitoring and patient care, as well as more accurate diagnosis.
CEO Bruce Davey joined Paul Henry this morning.
