John Key to leave Townsville, misses Mumbai

A Royal New Zealand Air Force Boeing 757 plane has had to abort take-off twice at Townsville Airport in Australia due to technical problems.

It was carrying Prime Minister John Key, former Blackcap Brendon McCullum and a delegation of around 30 business leaders to Mumbai, India, to build trade ties.

The man in charge of the purse strings, Acting Prime Minister Bill English, joined Paul Henry this morning.
