'No point' in adding interest to student loans - Key

ACT leader David Seymour has said the Government is lacking in courage by refusing to entertain the Productivity Commission's recommendation that interest be added back onto student loans.

The Productivity Commission has called for interest on student loans, saying it would make education more accessible for everyone.

It's one of a raft of recommendations the commission put forward in a draft report, New Models of Tertiary Education.
