A joint investigation with Stuff and Newshub revealed that Auckland's 'rockstar economy' has a less-than-glamorous reality.
While Auckland is growing at 3.4 percent a year and is now a $100 billion economy, the benefits of growth are not reaching our lower-ranking suburbs- in particular, South Auckland. There is a yawning gap between the suburbs out east and north, and those in the west and south.
