Kiwi musicians, ABs unite for charity song

Some of the biggest names in New Zealand music have banded together with the All Blacks for the team's official Rugby World Cup tune, which will also raise money for Cure Kids.

'Team Ball Player Thing''s lyrics happened upon director Taika Waititi as Kiwi kids gave the All Blacks pointers on how to take out the competition – from eating carrots to using magic wands, and riding laser-shooting unicorns.

The star-studded song includes Lorde and Kimbra alongside The Naked and Famous and Broods, Jason Kerrison, Six60's Matiu Walters and Dave Dobbyn.

The Joel Little-produced single follows up the Flight of the Conchords 2012 charity hit 'Feel Inside (And Stuff Like That)' that's so far clocked up millions of views online and raised buckets of cash for Cure Kids.
