England taking Fiji match seriously

England are well aware of the threat offered by their Pool A Pacific Island opponents Fiji.

Though the hosts are expected to battle the Wallabies and Wales for the two top spots in the group, one slip-up would derail those plans.

In six Rugby World Cup appearances, Fiji have only made it out of the group stage twice.

Their place in the so called "Group of Death" means progression is unlikely, and England know the Fijians could easily bring down their own Cup ambitions.

Prop Dan Cole says the tough opening is the perfect springboard for the knock-out matches, should they make it that far.
