Shaun Marsh dropped from Westies Test

Australian batsman Shaun Marsh has been dropped for the Boxing Day Test against the West Indies at the MCG, despite scoring 182 in his last outing.

That knock helped the Aussies to an innings and 212-run win in the first Test.

The Windies seem as likely to reverse that result as having a white Christmas in Jamaica.

Santa must have known that Joe Burns has been a good boy this year, the opener keeping his place in the Aussie Test team. The captain and selectors did not want to tinker with what's been a productive partnership with David Warner at the top of the order.

And with Usman Kwhaja proving his fitness with a big bash century, someone had to miss out.
